Design, develop, configure, and support Caterpillar's Akeneo Product Information Management (PIM) platform and related integrations.
Build and maintain scalable product data models, custom Akeneo applications, and APIs connecting enterprise systems like MDM, DAM, ERP, and eCommerce.
Monitor platform health, perform root cause analysis, support upgrades, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement and governance.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of software development experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Akeneo PIM implementation, development, or administration.
Experience with Java and/or Python development, REST APIs, and Git-based source control.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience integrating Akeneo with enterprise solutions such as MDM, DAM, ERP, Supplier Management, or eCommerce platforms.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services, event-driven architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
Strong understanding of product data modeling, data governance, and supporting large-scale global multilingual product catalogs.
