Lead geoscience efforts in production forecasting including type curve generation, calibration, validation, and uncertainty assessment for shale and tight assets.
Integrate geological, petrophysical, production, engineering, and development planning data to create reliable forecasts supporting reserves, resources, business planning, and portfolio strategy.
Collaborate with global asset teams and technical specialists to improve forecast quality, support decision making, and drive workflow improvements through analytics and automation.
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree or higher in geology, geophysics, earth science, petroleum engineering, or related discipline.
5-15 years of experience in forecasting, reservoir characterization, reservoir management, or integrated asset development.
Experience integrating geological interpretation with production forecasting and development planning workflows.
Legal authorization to work in India without company-sponsored visa support (if required by final posting).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Demonstrated ability to generate reliable and transparent production forecasts integrating multidisciplinary subsurface and engineering data.
Proven technical judgment in type curve development, uncertainty quantification, reserves/resource support, and forecast quality assurance under business planning timelines.
Experience collaborating across geoscience, reservoir engineering, production, planning, and commercial teams in global or distributed environments.
