Own and define test strategy and automation architecture across multiple squads for backend, frontend, and mobile platforms.
Design, build, and scale test automation frameworks covering API, UI, contract, integration, and performance testing.
Mentor SDET engineers, lead quality initiatives, and drive cross-functional activities on performance, reliability, security, and chaos engineering.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience in QA/SDET/software engineering, including 2+ years leading quality initiatives and framework design.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript with ability to design and extend automation frameworks.
Experience with modern automation tools (e.g., WebdriverIO, Cypress, Selenium), microservices testing, CI/CD pipelines, and performance/security testing tools.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior individual contributor comfortable leading test architecture and quality engineering without direct people management.
Experienced in complex distributed systems and microservices environments with expertise in end-to-end automation and non-functional testing.
Capable of partnering with engineering leads and DevOps to embed quality gates and optimize test pipelines at scale.
