Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components for JPMorgan Chase's Payments Technology products within an agile team framework.
Write secure, high-quality code using Java and leverage enterprise-authorized AI-assisted coding tools to improve code quality and productivity, ensuring automated testing and secure coding standards.
Participate in software development life cycle activities including application design, development, testing, deployment (CI/CD), and support microservices deployment on AWS using Terraform scripts.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years applied experience in software engineering with formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, debugging, and operational stability in a corporate environment.
Experience with Java (preferably Java 17+), relational database querying, and use of AI-assisted software development tools with ability to validate AI outputs.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and working knowledge of SDLC including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Developer with enterprise-level full stack Java expertise and experience in microservices deployed on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service or Elastic Container Service.
Proficient in writing Terraform scripts and managing deployments in AWS production environments.
Candidate who integrates AI-assisted software development tools responsibly with a focus on secure coding, application resiliency, and lifecycle best practices.
