Java Lead_Vice President _Software Engineer

Lead design, development, and maintenance of high-throughput, scalable Prime Brokerage transaction booking platforms.

Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to implement data governance, optimize application performance, and evolve platform capabilities for electronic trading and settlement.

Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance software delivery and developer productivity.

Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience as a Java developer/technology lead.

Strong expertise in Java/Spring framework, multithreading/concurrency, distributed systems including Kafka and distributed caching.

Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), databases (SQL/NoSQL, Snowflake, Databricks), containerization (Docker), and Agile development.

Experienced technology leader capable of managing and evolving mission-critical, large-scale, time-sensitive transaction processing systems in financial services.

Proficient in architecting and implementing event/message driven architectures and enterprise-level REST services in distributed environments.

Comfortable leveraging modern AI-assisted coding tools within software development lifecycle and working in globally distributed Agile teams.
