Senior Analyst – Financial Accounting & Closing

Prepare and finalize annual accounts for a portfolio of occupational pension schemes adhering to relevant standards (SORP, AAF) and statutory deadlines.

Liaise with clients, auditors, account managers, and other professionals to manage timelines, audit queries, and ensure timely audit clearance and signing.

Manage accounting transactions integrity, prepare investment reconciliations, review monthly reports, provide financial information for reports, and assist team members.

2-3 years of pension scheme or investment accounting experience with direct client, auditor, and professional interaction.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.

Experience in preparing accounts compliant with SORP, AAF, and statutory requirements.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Cashfac and Open Accounts or similar is advantageous.

Experienced in managing occupational pension scheme accounts with ability to handle complex accounting and reporting tasks.

Comfortable communicating effectively with clients, auditors, and other stakeholders at meetings, calls, and written communication.

Capable of mentoring junior team members and providing guidance within a collaborative accounting environment.
