Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration/conversion projects focusing on custom code remediation and performance optimization.
Design, develop, and enhance ABAP objects including reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, ensuring S/4HANA compatibility and clean core compliance.
Support testing phases, issue resolution, post-go-live support, and mentor junior consultants while maintaining technical documentation.
Minimum Requirements
6–9 years of SAP ABAP experience with hands-on involvement in at least 2–3 ECC to S/4HANA migration or conversion projects.
Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, Reports, Enhancements, Interfaces (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Proxy), debugging, and performance tuning.
Proven experience with custom code adaptation for S/4HANA including SPAU/SPDD adjustments and ATC checks.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field or MBA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in S/4HANA data model simplifications and SAP Activate methodology with exposure to Finance (ACDOCA, FI CVI) or Logistics (MATDOC) processes.
Proficient in advanced ABAP features such as CDS Views, AMDP, and Fiori backend development (OData services).
Capable of cross-functional collaboration including working with functional consultants, Basis, security, and integration teams on complex migration projects.
