Lead the design and development of complex, scalable SAS Macro libraries and analytical models to standardize and automate data processing.
Optimize large-scale SAS datasets and ETL workflows integrating heterogeneous data sources to improve performance and resource utilization.
Mentor junior programmers, perform code reviews, and ensure technical accuracy and data quality in statistical outputs.
Minimum Requirements
5–7 years of experience in advanced SAS programming including Base SAS, Macros, Stat, Graph, and SQL.
Strong expertise in SAS Macro programming and performance optimization of large-scale SAS programs.
Experience integrating SAS with external databases and enterprise data warehouses (SQL, Oracle, Hadoop).
Location: Mumbai (Hybrid work mode). Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. SAS Certified Advanced Programmer is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in developing modular, reusable SAS macro code and advanced statistical modeling using SAS/Stat and SAS/ETS.
Demonstrated ability to architect complex ETL workflows and optimize data processing at scale within enterprise environments.
Proven track record of technical leadership including mentoring, code reviews, and driving best practices in SAS programming.
