Lead Software Engineer - Java, AWS

Lead design, development, and troubleshooting of secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas.

Drive adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering tools and establish validation standards to enhance code quality, delivery speed, and operational stability.

Lead evaluations of external vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical fit within existing systems.

5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.

Advanced hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, EC2, Kafka, NLB.

Proven experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with knowledge of responsible AI use, security, and compliance.

In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, application resiliency, security, and financial services IT systems.

Experienced in cloud native Java development with practical AWS expertise and strong backend architecture skills.

Able to lead technical teams in integrating AI-assisted tools responsibly within agile delivery environments.

Familiar with enterprise architecture and cross-functional orchestration workflows to enable unified user experiences across platforms.
