Job Description
Structured overview of role & requirementsAbout This Role
Own end-to-end solution validation for carrier-grade broadband deployments focusing on scale, performance, and resiliency across Control Plane and User Plane.
Design and implement large-scale network topologies and test strategies using traffic generators (Keysight IXIA, Spirent) to emulate realistic service-provider broadband scenarios.
Analyze performance bottlenecks, debug complex system issues, drive defect resolutions, and deliver data-driven release quality assessments.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
4-8 years of experience in system, solution, scale, performance, and resiliency testing of networking or carrier-grade networking products.
Proficiency with Keysight IXIA and/or Spirent traffic-generation platforms; strong Python programming and test automation skills (pyATS/Genie or equivalent).
Strong IP networking fundamentals including L2/L3 forwarding, routing, MPLS/L3VPN, QoS, and broadband subscriber protocols; ability to design large-scale network test topologies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced working at the intersection of software, hardware, and networking in carrier-grade broadband or BNG solution environments.
Skilled in automation-driven and AI-assisted engineering with integration into CI/CD pipeline testing frameworks and complex traffic emulation.
Capable of deep debugging and root-cause analysis involving network protocols, forwarding hardware, and traffic generators in large-scale distributed network systems.
