Design, operate, and improve Kubernetes infrastructure on Amazon EKS including autoscaling and cluster lifecycle management.
Administer and tune PostgreSQL databases on RDS focusing on configuration, parameter tuning, and maintenance.
Own infrastructure as code with Terraform for AWS resources; manage IAM roles and access patterns; maintain monitoring, observability, artifact registries, and CI/CD environments.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps in production environments.
Deep expertise with Kubernetes in production, preferably Amazon EKS, including autoscaling and operations.
Strong proficiency in Terraform, AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM), PostgreSQL administration, and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced with Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps delivery workflows, and CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions).
Proficient in scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash with strong Linux and cloud-native production system skills.
Able to collaborate closely with data engineers to define infrastructure and deployment standards and participate in platform-level incident on-call rotations.
