Cloud Automation Senior Devops Engineer

Design, build, deploy, and provide operational ownership for scalable, secure cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and automation tools/APIs in Python; manage CI/CD pipelines using Tekton PAC and application deployments on OpenShift with GitOps via ArgoCD.

Lead cloud patching, vulnerability remediation, security compliance, platform monitoring, cost optimization, and contribute to cloud architecture and technology roadmaps.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

8+ years experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation; with 3+ years in a senior technical or leadership role.

Strong hands-on experience with GCP services including GCE, Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks, Pub/Sub, Cloud Scheduler, Batch, GCS, and IAM administration.

Proficiency in Terraform (IaC), Python scripting, OpenShift deployment, GitOps with ArgoCD, and understanding of DevSecOps, HA/DR, and security best practices.

Experienced in managing complex, distributed cloud workloads with strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication skills.

Comfortable operating within SRE principles for high availability, disaster recovery, and operational resilience in cloud-native environments.

Able to translate business requirements into scalable cloud automation solutions and drive cloud modernization and cost optimization initiatives.
