Deploy and set up test environments and databases on-premises and cloud (AWS or GCP) using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
Develop and execute performance tests using LoadRunner, DevWeb, Apache Benchmark, Cypress, and custom scripts (Python, Perl, Bash, SQL).
Monitor and diagnose issues and bottlenecks using logs, monitoring tools (New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), cloud monitoring, and database queries.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3 years of dedicated performance engineering experience with complex, containerized, distributed cloud products.
Mandatory skills: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GCP and/or AWS, LoadRunner or similar performance testing tools, scripting in Bash, Perl or Python.
Experience diagnosing bottlenecks in PostgreSQL or other relational database queries.
Experience with performance monitoring tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in performance engineering for cloud-native, containerized distributed systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills across deployment, testing, and product performance issues using logs and monitoring tools.
Comfortable working extensively in command-line environments and integrating multiple tools and platforms for performance analysis.
