Lead significant migrations: Yii2-to-Laravel framework and MariaDB-to-PostgreSQL database, ensuring data integrity and architectural soundness.
Take end-to-end ownership of complex production systems including microservices decomposition and backend support for AI-related products in a small senior team.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years of commercial PHP backend development at Expert level with proven experience in complex, large-scale SaaS or production systems.
3+ years advanced PostgreSQL experience; 5+ years advanced API design and third-party integration; 3+ years advanced high-volume data processing including event-driven or IoT data ingestion.
3+ years advanced experience in Laravel and/or Yii2, and PHPUnit testing; 2+ years intermediate experience in microservices or monolith decomposition and AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms).
Experience in telematics, fleet, logistics, video/media file handling, or related IoT and connected-device domains at intermediate level.
Work Experience Required: 8+ years in relevant backend development roles.
