Principal Engineer, Director

Lead best practices for application development and software development life cycles within the bank.

Drive design, development, and deployment of high performance, resilient software systems and reusable APIs across the bank.

Manage technical delivery and quality standards of one or more software engineering teams, advising on technical strategy, product roadmaps, and migration plans.

Minimum 18 years of experience in full stack software engineering, including leading software development teams.

Experience with SOA and microservices architectures, full stack development, cloud platforms (especially AWS), DevSecOps, CI/CD, and observability.

Must be based in India and perform all normal working days in India (Chennai preferred).

Strong background in software or database design and architecture, test-driven development, automated testing frameworks, and API design/implementation.

Leader with proven ability to drive technical strategy, architecture, innovation, and performance optimisation in enterprise-scale projects.

Experienced in mentoring engineering teams and collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Architecture, and business stakeholders.

Demonstrates deep expertise in modern software engineering paradigms including microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native platform engineering.
