Lead QA Automation Engineer (PlayWright)

Lead QA strategy, defining test approaches and governing automation frameworks for enterprise Web, Mobile, API, Retail, and POS applications.

Architect, develop, and scale end-to-end Playwright automation frameworks and oversee test script creation and maintenance leveraging generative AI tools like Claude.

Mentor QA teams, manage bug triage, track test efficiency metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

7+ years experience in QA automation for Web, Mobile, and API service-based applications with advanced proficiency in Playwright and other tools (Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, etc).

5+ years experience in mobile automation using Appium and programming expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Java.

3+ years experience with Agile practices, CI/CD pipeline configuration, version control using Git/GitHub/GitLab, and backend database validation with Oracle/SQL.

Experienced QA leader capable of managing complex projects related to retail, brick & mortar, mobile POS applications.

Strong hands-on expertise in advanced automation frameworks, with demonstrated ability to integrate generative AI tools to improve test automation efficiency.

Skilled communicator who can lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and coordinate across business and engineering stakeholders.
