Java Lead_Vice President _Software Engineer

Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-throughput Prime Brokerage transaction booking platforms using Java/Spring.

Collaborate closely with global, onshore/offshore teams and stakeholders to deliver and evolve mission-critical multi-asset transaction processing systems.

Optimize application performance and scalability while implementing data quality/governance standards and contributing to team knowledge sharing and development process improvements.

Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Java software engineering and technical leadership.

Strong expertise in Java/Spring, multithreading/concurrency, distributed systems (Kafka, distributed caching), and domain/event/message driven architecture.

Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot), familiarity with Docker/container orchestration, databases (SQL/NoSQL), Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field.

Experienced leader with a strong background in building large-scale, time-sensitive, enterprise-grade Java transaction processing platforms.

Skilled in integrating AI tools to enhance software development lifecycle and developer productivity in a distributed global engineering environment.

Comfortable working in an agile, continuous integration/delivery setup across multi-disciplinary teams with strong focus on scalable architecture and data governance.
