Staff Applied Science Manager

Lead and grow a team of data scientists responsible for building, experimenting, and deploying ML models directly impacting InMobi DSP and company metrics.

Own program execution across multiple concurrent data science projects: define roadmaps, prioritize work, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

Serve as the technical and people leader, combining hands-on guidance with mentoring, coaching, stakeholder management, and thought leadership at industry events.

Master's degree in quantitative fields like Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Analytics, or Data Science, or Bachelor's with additional relevant experience.

10-14 years work experience in quantitative roles including model building and validation, with 2-3 years in people management or technical leadership.

Proven experience managing data science portfolios or programs; familiarity with ML, Deep Learning, Statistics, big data tools like Python, Apache Spark; experience in ad tech is strongly preferred.

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus; familiarity with mobile OS privacy challenges (iOS, Android) also advantageous.

Experienced leader who balances technical depth in AI/ML with strong program and people management across fast-paced projects.

Comfortable operating at the intersection of data science, product, engineering, and business to translate models into measurable business impact.

Proven ability to foster a high-performance, curious, and accountable data science team that innovates rapidly and communicates effectively with senior stakeholders.
