Own end-to-end development and operation of complex containerized web applications supporting METRO’s post-sales service lifecycle (repairs, warranty, customer support).
Develop high-quality code adhering to best practices, drive improvements in product quality, security, and performance.
Collaborate across the product team to maintain and enhance integrations within METRO’s ecosystem focused on incident management and resource coordination.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 12 years experience building and running containerized complex web applications in the cloud.
Minimum 12 years programming experience in high-level languages like Java, Kotlin, Scala, or Javascript.
Hands-on experience with Cloud Platforms (preferably GCP) including GKE, Cloud Armor, Networking.
Experience with React and Microfrontend architecture, CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in operating within cloud-native environments using container orchestration (Kubernetes) and microfrontend architecture for scalable applications.
Able to work independently with strong opinions communicated effectively in technical discussions.
Has a strong reliability track record in delivering production-grade services integrated into complex operational ecosystems.
