Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models across multiple data sources including SQL Server and Oracle.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to translate requirements into effective Power BI solutions and ensure data availability and quality.
Manage and optimize Power BI Service, including report publishing, security (RLS), scheduled refreshes, troubleshooting, capacity management, and version control with GitHub.
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years of commercial experience developing Power BI solutions.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, advanced DAX, and data modelling.
Proficient with SQL Server and Oracle databases, including SQL query optimization and troubleshooting skills.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or equivalent commercial experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced working with complex data models (30+ tables) and implementing star schema/dimensional modelling.
Skilled in performance tuning Power BI reports using tools like Performance Analyzer, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor.
Comfortable supporting enterprise BI environments with hands-on knowledge of Power BI Service administration, deployment pipelines, Microsoft Fabric features, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
