Lead and coordinate the development of high-quality proposals, tenders, and strategic initiatives related to EU and NATO defence opportunities for Saab's Ground Combat Business Unit.
Manage complex international consortium and stakeholder relationships including industrial partners, research organisations, government representatives, and internal teams.
Monitor European and NATO defence policy, funding calls, and market opportunities to support strategy and portfolio development, ensuring submissions meet contractual, financial, security, and eligibility requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Demonstrated experience in a similar role at a Tier-1 defence supplier including project management of complex, multi-stakeholder international projects.
Experience developing tender, proposal, or grant-application materials to demanding deadlines.
Strong understanding of the defence sector and European defence programmes such as EDF, EDIP, EDA, Horizon Europe, or NATO procurement is highly valued.
Ability to pass security vetting as per current regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in government relations, EU affairs, or similar environments with strong knowledge of EDF and NATO procurement frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships and navigate multinational collaborations.
Existing relationships and networks across European defence industry, government, or research stakeholders; Swedish language skills are an advantage.
