Principal Software Engineer

Lead design, evolution, and delivery of scalable, resilient platforms for customer and banker experiences in Business Banking Technology.

Drive architecture and engineering decisions across cloud, APIs, customer engagement, workflow orchestration, and AI-enabled services affecting multiple teams.

Establish reusable engineering patterns, frameworks, and standards to improve delivery speed, quality, security, and operational resilience.

15+ years of extensive experience designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.

Proficiency in modern development languages such as Python, Java, .NET, TypeScript, or Go and experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, front-end frameworks (React JS/Next JS).

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.

Strong experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation), DevSecOps, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Experienced Principal or Lead Engineer with proven leadership in complex enterprise environments and large-scale distributed system architecture.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across engineering, product, architecture, risk, and business domains while shaping platform strategy.

Deep knowledge of AI-enabled customer experiences, modern engineering practices, and mentoring/coaching engineering teams for technical excellence.
