Lead Energy Market Analyst ​(Support)

Own advanced technical support for global energy market simulation software users, ensuring issue resolution across SaaS/Cloud and Desktop platforms.

Lead and manage a team of Energy Market Analysts, while collaborating closely with Cloud and Development teams to track and resolve software issues and document development requests.

Deliver onsite and remote training, create educational materials, and assist in market-related presentations and client retention efforts, including travel as required.

Minimum 8 years of experience in power markets, power systems, or related fields including power plant operations.

At least 2 years of people management experience leading a team of analysts.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, another Engineering field, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Applied Math, Physics, or a related discipline.

Experience working with SaaS products, and troubleshooting cloud software issues; strong knowledge of energy market analysis and power market modeling software.

Experienced in advanced energy market analysis with deep understanding of capacity markets, environmental markets, and utility resource planning.

Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively across client and cross-functional development teams.

Comfortable working flexible shifts including evening and night hours, and capable of handling a client-facing leadership role with travel commitments.
