Core Operations - Assistant Vice President

Lead design, deployment, and operational transition of Direct Custody model across multiple European markets including Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany.

Create scalable target operating models, technology solutions, and implementation plans across securities settlement, cash and FX support, corporate actions, income, reconciliation, and client/account setup.

Own business readiness through testing, operational readiness assessments, implementation support, and handover into BAU Direct Custody operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Technology or related field; master’s degree or professional qualification is advantageous.

10-12 years of experience in securities services, custody, post-trade operations, business analysis, operating-model design, or complex transformation delivery with leadership of workstreams and stakeholders.

Strong knowledge of securities settlement, cash and liquidity, reconciliation, corporate actions, and income processes in global or direct custody environment; practical understanding of T2S and European CSD/ICSD models.

Experience producing business requirements, process maps, test scenarios, and managing vendor engagements; working knowledge of SWIFT and ISO 20022 preferred.

Experienced business-design lead capable of managing complex multi-market custody transformation and interfacing with Product, Technology, Vendors, and Risk/Compliance teams.

Strong operational and strategic orientation with ability to translate complex market and client requirements into scalable operating models and solutions.

Capable of leading end-to-end process design, testing, operational readiness, risk embedding, and stakeholder communication at senior levels.
