Manager, Software Engineering (Hybrid)

Manage and grow a software engineering team to architect, design, build, and test enterprise software applications.

Ensure and improve Kaplan's software development lifecycle and advocate automation in agile development practices like CI, testing, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with leadership, cross-functional teams, and offshore groups to troubleshoot, prioritize system issues, and deliver scalable, high-quality software on schedule.

2+ years in a software engineering leadership role with 8+ years hands-on engineering experience.

Proficient with .Net, C#, Web API, GraphQL, and extensive knowledge of web-based systems architecture.

Experience in service-oriented design, enterprise business software, and current cloud technologies.

Preferred 30-day notice period; Education in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline.

Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining focus on quality and scalability.

Experienced in enterprise software delivery with strong architectural insight and process improvement orientation.

Comfortable working collaboratively across multiple functions and managing offshore teams to align on priorities and deliverables.
