Lead and develop the Shared Material Planning and LOG Supplier Management teams at Ahmedabad.
Optimize long-term material planning based on market forecasts, consumption, and capacity, including supplier negotiation for material preparation and capacity reservation.
Manage escalations on supplier delivery issues and oversee KPIs and targets set by DC-MH Central Logistics, including supply chain optimization projects.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years of team leading experience.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical, Trading, or Logistics.
Proficient in MRP II/SAP MM module, lean logistics, and Pull System (Kanban, Supermarket).
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing material planning and supplier relationships in a production/project environment.
Strong operational leadership focused on continuous improvement and problem-solving in supply chain context.
Comfortable using SAP, MS Office, and skilled in negotiation and escalation management with suppliers.
