Lead the Clinical Data Science product area, developing machine learning, generative AI, and evaluation capabilities for clinical AI experiences in athenahealth’s AI-Native Electronic Health Record.
Define product vision, roadmap, and business cases; act as Product Owner managing Scrum teams including backlog prioritization and trade-offs.
Partner across functions to ensure product safety, regulatory compliance, and measure outcomes while coaching on responsible AI practices.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or related field.
Minimum 8+ years of Product Management or related experience.
Experience with generative AI, large language models (LLMs), AI evaluation platforms (e.g., Arize, Datadog), and responsible AI in regulated environments.
Experience working with Agile or Scrum teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in healthcare technology product management, especially AI/ML applied to clinical settings.
Practically skilled in developing and evaluating generative AI solutions including prompt engineering and model observability.
Capable of managing complex, regulated AI products with strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
