Senior Data Scientist I

Consult as technical expert for Clinical Solutions team on AI/ML/NLP use cases, selecting appropriate AI models and methodologies based on requirements, cost, and scalability.

Build, test, maintain, and optimize Generative AI, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and NLP solutions including RAG pipeline customization for content ingestion, machine translation, and contextual information retrieval.

Deliver production-ready Python code, evaluate AI model performance, implement ethical guardrails, and manage end-to-end data science project life cycle including deployment and operationalization.

5+ years of applied experience in data science focused on Generative AI, NLP, and machine learning.

Proficiency in Python for advanced data analysis, model development, and deployment; Java experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Strong experience with transformer models, large language model fine-tuning, Generative AI technologies, LLM API usage, evaluation tools, prompt engineering, and practical knowledge of RAG pipelines.

Experience or familiarity with model deployment on cloud platforms like AWS (including AWS Bedrock), Azure, or similar services is preferred.

Experienced data scientist with deep expertise in Generative AI/NLP technologies and large language models applicable to clinical and content processing domains.

Capable of integrating advanced AI technologies into scalable, production-level solutions while managing ethical and operational risks.

Collaborative consultant who partners with SMEs and tech teams to tailor AI solutions addressing diverse business problems with practical deployment experience on cloud environments.
