Senior APC Engineer – Process Optimisation Applications (PXP)

Own full lifecycle of Advanced Process Control (APC) projects including process analysis, model development, commissioning, optimisation, and long-term support.

Deliver APC and soft-sensor solutions leveraging MPC, AI/ML, fuzzy logic, and PID control to stabilise plant operations and improve throughput and energy efficiency.

Collaborate with customers and internal teams on project delivery, system integration, training, and ongoing performance improvement including sales and product support.

Hands-on experience in Advanced Process Control, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and AI applied to industrial processes.

Experience with process manufacturing industries; cement and minerals process knowledge is a strong advantage.

Proficient with ECS/ProcessExpert® APC toolbox or similar, including MPC, AI/ML algorithms, and industrial data connectivity (PLCs, DCS, historians, SQL, MQTT).

Willingness to travel 40–60% domestically and internationally for commissioning and customer engagement.
