Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities to develop or revise application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
Partner with management teams to integrate functions, identify system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.
Provide technical expertise, develop coding/testing/debugging standards, and serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers while ensuring compliance and risk management.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development or systems analysis role.
Expert-level skills in Python and Spark with 9+ years of experience including Big Data technologies, Python libraries (pandas, numpy, scipy), OOP concepts, and design patterns.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience with Unix-based systems, SQL, source code management tools (Bitbucket, Git), and leadership/project management skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Senior-level developer with subject matter expertise in Applications Development and proven leadership in managing and delivering complex projects.
Strong background in building high-scale, performant data computation and processing platforms using big data technologies and software development best practices.
Experienced in banking domain applications like pricing and risk is a plus, indicating familiarity with financial systems and regulatory environments.
