India Business Information Security Officer - Assistant Vice President

Support India Region BISO Head in cybersecurity risk management, advisory, and regulatory compliance for India operations and legal entities.

Partner with global and India stakeholders to implement and align cybersecurity programs, controls, assessments, and risk remediation within India context.

Coordinate incident response, regulatory audits, vendor risk management, and awareness initiatives specific to India business and regulatory environment.

12+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, cyber audit, or regulatory compliance, preferably in financial services or regulated industry.

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Working knowledge of India-specific cybersecurity regulations (e.g., RBI, SEBI, CERT-In, Digital Personal Data Protection) and ability to interpret and implement controls accordingly.

Experience collaborating with global and regional multi-disciplinary stakeholders in a matrixed organization.

Experienced in coordinating cybersecurity controls and risk remediation across multiple domains including IAM, cloud security, application security, and third-party risk.

Familiar with translating global cybersecurity policies into practical, India-specific implementations and managing regulatory compliance evidence.

Able to work at the intersection of business, technology, risk, and operations with strong analytical and communication skills to advise stakeholders and influence security outcomes.
