Ensure high performance, stability, security, and usability of extensions while managing testing, debugging, version upgrades, and publishing to VS Code Marketplace.
Minimum Requirements
Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with hands-on experience in VS Code Extension Development.
Good understanding of Node.js and VS Code Extension APIs including commands, contributions, and activation events.
Experience with Git and version control workflows.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in designing and deploying VS Code extensions integrated with cloud or internal REST APIs, focusing on developer tools and automation.
Skilled at writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on debugging, performance optimization, and security.
Familiar with advanced extension features such as Webviews, Language Server Protocol, and CI/CD pipelines is a strong advantage.
