Lead troubleshooting of customer issues with Juniper routing platforms, including replicating environments and coordinating between customers and engineering for final fixes.
Own knowledge and understanding of customer network infrastructure to ensure timely resolution and act as customer advocate.
Mentor new engineers, train support teams, contribute to product development/testing, knowledge base, and documentation activities.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years' experience in Networking Industry; alternatively, 7+ years extensive JUNOS or data center/enterprise core troubleshooting experience may suffice.
Expertise in Layer 3 routing, IP and related protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), Layer 2 technologies, multicast and MPLS technologies.
Willingness to work hybrid (2 days onsite), including weekend and on-call pager coverage.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep hands-on experience with Juniper routing platforms (PTX, MX) and IP routing protocols in enterprise or data center networks.
Comfortable driving complex issue resolution involving multiple teams and customer environments, with strong customer advocacy.
Experience mentoring peers and contributing to technical training and documentation within a support engineering context.
