Own end-to-end U.S. state and local indirect tax compliance including gross receipts and property taxes, ensuring timely, accurate filings.
Prepare and review indirect tax workpapers, reconciliations, and financial journal entries using Oracle and related systems across multiple jurisdictions.
Monitor tax legislative changes and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize indirect tax data capture, compliance, and automation initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
3–5 years of corporate or public accounting tax experience, preferably including U.S. sales/gross receipts tax and/or international indirect tax compliance.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (Oracle preferred), and experience handling large data sets and tax reconciliations.
Work Experience Required: 3–5 years in tax compliance or related roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in U.S. and international indirect tax compliance for corporate or marketplace platform environments with detailed tax return preparation and review skills.
Comfortable working in a process-driven, technology-enabled environment with hands-on use or interest in automation and tax technology tools (e.g., AI, Alteryx, Power Automate).
Strong collaborator skilled in cross-cultural communication and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced global organization.
