Systems Engineer (Wintel) - Swing Shift

Manage end-to-end configuration, patching, and daily operations of Windows Server estate and on-premises infrastructure including virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure, and enterprise storage.

Administer and maintain Active Directory, domain services, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, certificate services, and support hybrid identity integration with Entra ID.

Execute recurring patching cycles and vulnerability remediation, enforce change control, and support cloud infrastructure workloads in AWS and Azure alongside on-premises systems.

7+ years of experience in systems engineering or systems administration with hands-on responsibility for Windows Server estate.

Proven hands-on administration of Active Directory, VMware vSphere, Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, Dell Isilon or PowerScale storage, and cloud IaaS workloads in AWS or Azure.

Strong PowerShell scripting skills with experience in automation or infrastructure-as-code.

Information Technology, Engineering or closely related degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experienced in operating within shift-based infrastructure teams with structured handovers and escalation handling.

Demonstrates strong operational discipline including change management, patching, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery.

Capable of managing complex hybrid environments spanning on-premises infrastructure and cloud services, with a focus on security, resilience, and cost control.
