About This Role

Design and implement enhancements and updates to BIOS/UEFI firmware and system software subsystems.

Lead project teams across internal and outsourced developers to deliver reliable, cost-effective, high-quality firmware solutions for enterprise server platforms.

Drive testing, debugging, and integration activities from design through production deployment including collaboration with global engineering teams.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Typically 6+ years of experience in firmware development.

Strong expertise in x86 server firmware development including BIOS/UEFI, EDK II, ACPI, SMBIOS, and platform initialization.

Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Shell scripting and familiarity with firmware debugging tools (JTAG, hardware analyzers).

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience working on large-scale, multi-socket enterprise server platforms, including mission-critical infrastructure.

Deep knowledge of Intel server CPU architectures, chipset technologies, platform security (Secure Boot, TPM), and system power management.

Ability to lead complex technical investigations and provide technical leadership across global teams with proven mentoring skills.
