Own and operate the global Linux server environment across on-premises and cloud (AWS, Azure) platforms, managing build, patching, configuration, hardening, and operational support.
Develop, maintain, and operate Ansible automation for provisioning, patching, deployment, and configuration drift remediation to achieve standardized, repeatable Linux estate management.
Lead patch cycles, vulnerability remediation, high availability, backup, recovery, and provide technical leadership, mentoring, and second/third level escalation support within a shift-based global infrastructure team.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
7+ years of hands-on Linux systems engineering/admin experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or comparable distributions at production scale.
Mandatory expertise in Ansible automation development and operation, including automation code management with version control and peer review.
Experience required working with Linux in cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure) and managing patching/vulnerability remediation programs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in operating large-scale, multi-platform Linux estates with demonstrated ability to maintain parity between on-premises and cloud deployments.
Strong automation engineering discipline applying Infrastructure as Code principles, version-controlled Ansible playbooks with peer review, and measurable efficiency gains.
Capable of technical leadership in a shift-based, global support environment with expertise in complex troubleshooting across OS, storage, network, and application layers.
