Design, develop, and maintain backend services and custom functionality in AEM using Java, OSGi, Sling Models, Servlets, and JCR.
Build and support integrations between AEM and third-party platforms and manage deployments via AEM Cloud Manager.
Ensure code quality through automated unit tests, troubleshoot backend issues, and optimize for performance, security, and scalability.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3 years of backend development experience including AEM backend development with Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, and AEM APIs.
Hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Adobe Cloud Manager for build pipelines and deployments.
Proficient with Java backend development tools: Maven (build/dependency management), Git (version control), JUnit/Mockito for testing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent education/experience accepted).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in cloud-based AEM deployments and secure, maintainable backend architecture for scalable digital solutions.
Comfortable working independently to manage backend deliverables with minimal supervision and collaboratively resolve technical challenges.
