Senior Staff Agentic AI Engineer

Design, build, ship, and maintain LLM-powered AI agents that execute full software delivery lifecycle tasks from intake through release and operations.

Develop and manage agent evaluation suites, trust mechanisms including guardrails and human review gates, and monitor agent performance metrics.

Contribute to the underlying AI platform components, including orchestration, integration with enterprise systems, and continuous improvement through feedback and engineering best practices.

6+ years professional software engineering experience with production system shipping and operation.

Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications or agents including prompt engineering, tool integration, or multi-agent workflows.

Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript and experience with API, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

Experience in AI system evaluation design or strong test-engineering instincts applicable to non-deterministic software.

Experienced in large-scale AI agent application architecture and platform engineering with a focus on SDLC tooling and enterprise integration.

Strong systems thinking and engineering craftsmanship, with demonstrated ability to implement production-grade software and infrastructure (CI/CD, cloud-native, observability).

Skilled at balancing automation trust and human oversight, and able to communicate technical impact and risk to executive stakeholders clearly.
