Lead identification, development, and advancement of strategic funding opportunities to scale and institutionalize Landscape-Based Approaches in the Eastern Ghats landscape.
Develop a pipeline of donor-ready proposals including at least six concept notes/proposals split between integrating landscape approaches into broader programmes and dedicated landscape-scale initiatives.
Support resource mobilization and strategic partnership engagement to sustain landscape initiatives beyond the current project lifecycle, including preparation of investment briefs and donor engagement materials.
Minimum Requirements
Postgraduate degree in Development Finance, Economics, Environmental Economics, Climate Finance, Public Policy, Natural Resource Management, Business Administration, Sustainable Development, Rural Development, or related discipline.
Minimum 12 years of professional experience in climate finance, conservation finance, development finance, landscape finance, strategic partnerships, resource mobilization, or programme development.
Proven track record in developing successful funding proposals and securing funding from bilateral agencies, multilateral institutions, climate funds, foundations, impact investors, and private sector platforms.
Experience with institutions like GEF, GCF, Adaptation Fund, World Bank, IFAD, ADB, UN agencies, bilateral development agencies, philanthropic organizations, or private sector sustainability initiatives is highly desirable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong expertise in strategic landscape finance and resource mobilization focused on sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience.
Experience designing and pitching complex multi-stakeholder development finance proposals aligned with landscape management models and government programmes.
Capable of engaging effectively with senior government officials, donors, investors, and community institutions to foster long-term strategic partnerships and investment frameworks.
