Manager, Accounting

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including cash reconciliation, general ledger, month-end and year-end close processes within Mastercard's Global Business Solutions.

Ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies, support audit requirements, and maintain internal control frameworks for financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

Lead and develop accounting team, drive process improvements, standardize accounting practices across regions, and leverage technology including AI and automation for operational excellence.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred.

Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a subject matter expert or leadership role.

Strong technical expertise in accounting operations with knowledge of GL management, reconciliations, subledger, controlling accounts, and compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.

Proficiency in Oracle systems is mandatory; proficiency in MS Excel required; knowledge of PowerBI/Power Automate is beneficial.

Experienced in managing global, fast-paced accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

Demonstrates ability to lead and mentor teams, drive process optimization and adoption of technology including AI-driven automation.

Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with treasury and controllership teams and communicating financial insights to senior management.
