Own the DataOps strategy and operational roadmap for enterprise data pipelines, focusing on reliability, monitoring, incident management, and continuous delivery.
Lead and manage a team of data engineers to ensure operational delivery across multiple cross-functional teams, including incident response and adherence to DataOps standards.
Drive improvements in pipeline efficiency, security, data quality, and cost optimization on cloud analytics platforms, including hiring and training data engineering staff.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of experience in data engineering with significant focus on data operations and platform reliability.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
Strong technical skills including Python, SQL, automated testing frameworks (Great Expectations, dbt, pytest), CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Location requirement: Bengaluru - Brookfield GCC.

Deep expertise in implementing DataOps practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, incident management and data quality operations for large-scale enterprise data platforms.
Proficient in cloud cost management, pipeline orchestration (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, Prefect), and fostering operational transparency through metrics and evidence-based decision-making.
