Own evaluation, acquisition, and lifecycle management of diverse U.S. healthcare data assets including claims, EHR/EMR, lab, specialty pharmacy, and competitive intelligence datasets.
Proactively scout and assess new U.S. healthcare data vendors and asset types, recommending new datasets and innovative use cases to expand Roche's commercial insights.
Partner with U.S. therapeutic area teams (Oncology, Ophthalmology, CVRM, Neurology, Immunology, Rare Disease) to translate commercial needs into fit-for-purpose data requirements and oversee vendor evaluations and benchmarking.
Minimum Requirements
5–8+ years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech commercial analytics, healthcare data strategy, life sciences consulting, or healthcare data vendor roles; prior data acquisition/strategy/governance experience preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Bioinformatics, Public Health, Healthcare, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.
Hands-on experience evaluating and managing multiple U.S. healthcare data asset types such as claims, EHR/EMR, specialty pharmacy, lab/biomarker data, payer intelligence, provider reference data, and competitive intelligence.
Proficiency in SQL or similar tools for patient-level dataset extraction, profiling, and validation; experience with data visualization platforms.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Deep expertise in the U.S. healthcare data landscape with the ability to assess data strengths, biases, limitations, and guide multi-million-dollar data investments.
Strong strategic and analytical thinker capable of engaging diverse stakeholders to translate complex commercial questions into actionable data strategies across multiple therapeutic areas.
Experience working across varied data types and vendors with a consultative operating style to challenge assumptions, perform rigorous benchmarking, and influence product roadmaps and vendor relationships.
