Lead design, development, and optimization of complex Oracle and PostgreSQL data engineering solutions including SQL, PL/SQL, and data pipelines for critical business and operational processes.
Own delivery commitments and provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to a distributed team of data engineers, ensuring high quality execution and engineering best practices.
Drive production stability, performance tuning, data quality, modernization initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional global teams across time zones.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of experience in software/data engineering with at least 5 years hands-on in Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and data engineering technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology Management or related discipline.
Proficiency in SQL development including PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and expertise in performance tuning and data modeling.
Work location: Hyderabad with hybrid work model; ability to work from 2:30 PM IST to 11:30 PM IST.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in leading complex, data-intensive projects involving Oracle and PostgreSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms, with hands-on technical contribution.
Strong capability in technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with globally distributed teams and multiple stakeholders, including agile/scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with healthcare domain data and business processes (PBM/claims/prior authorization) and cloud-native data services (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) is highly advantageous.
