Senior Software Engineer - Android

Serve as the technical expert for Android development within the team, independently handling design, development, and operational support for Android applications.

Lead architectural design decisions with a customer-centric focus and influence projects impacting scalability, performance, and value beyond the immediate team.

Mentor and develop teammates through code reviews, training, and guidance to uphold technical standards and best practices.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on native Android app development using Kotlin and Java.

Strong knowledge of Android architectural components (Room, LiveData, Jetpack, Compose) and MVVM architecture.

Experience with RESTful APIs and understanding of multi-threading, concurrent programming, and performance optimization.

Experienced in leading complex Android projects with a track record of delivering scalable, performant, and reliable software products.

Proficient in independently managing full development lifecycle including incident resolution and course correction as needed.

Capable of setting and maintaining technical standards across teams, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across functions.
