Lead and own end-to-end forecasting for pipeline and occasional inline pharmaceutical assets within assigned therapeutic areas, including assumption building and scenario analysis.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams (Commercial, Finance, Medical, etc.) and senior executives (ED & VP level) across regions (U.S., Portugal, India) to deliver executive-level forecast insights and risk/opportunity framing.
Drive forecasting capability building in Amgen India, including mentoring juniors and integrating AI/automation tools to enhance forecasting processes and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years relevant experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, or data science OR Master’s degree with 6+ years experience.
Mandatory pharmaceutical/biotech forecasting and analytics experience with pipeline forecasting expertise.
On-site work location: Hyderabad, India; minimum 4 days per week onsite required.
Strong familiarity with Excel-based modeling and simulation techniques; familiarity with AI tools and predictive analytics.

Experienced senior forecasting professional with deep understanding of pharma/biotech commercial forecasting and pipeline modeling within a global matrix environment.
Comfortable operating as an individual contributor influencing senior global stakeholders while managing junior staff and improving team capabilities.
Strategic thinker able to integrate market dynamics, competitor insights, and cross-regional inputs into actionable forecasts and long-range planning.
