Build and maintain features across mobile (Android/iOS), web and backend services for multiple digital research platforms, including inherited codebases.
Own software quality end-to-end, including writing automated tests, code review, release checks, and troubleshooting production issues with AWS, Azure, and on-prem deployments.
Collaborate directly with international clinical and research stakeholders, manage scope and blockers, and document knowledge for multi-project switching.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years professional software engineering experience with production shipping track record.
Proficiency in full stack development with hands-on experience in at least one: React Native, Kotlin (Android), Swift (iOS), Ruby on Rails, .NET, Java Spring Boot, Python, or React JS.
Experience with API integration, cloud deployments (AWS and/or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization.
Regular, demonstrable use of AI coding assistants as part of software development workflows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience taking over or migrating third-party codebases and building documentation/wiki for knowledge sharing.
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining depth and ownership of each codebase.
Understanding and practical application of privacy, security (PII/PHI boundaries, encryption, audit logs), and observability principles in regulated environments (healthcare or clinical research preferred).
