Engineer and maintain high performance, secure, and robust software solutions in the Market Risk domain using GCP and Java technologies.
Design, produce, test, and implement scalable microservices and APIs within a feature team covering the full software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and business analysts to optimize software engineering capabilities and deliver business value rapidly.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 8 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, GKE, and Cloud SQL, with expertise in cloud-native infrastructure modernization and migration.
Strong Java development experience with deep expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST API design.
Good understanding of Market Risk concepts including market data, VaR calculations, and time series data, with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Work location: Gurugram, India; role requires working all normal days in India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced software engineer with seniority equivalent to Associate Vice President level in banking/financial software domain focusing on Market Risk systems.
Strong background in designing and optimizing scalable microservices and APIs following enterprise engineering best practices.
Demonstrated ability to apply AI and Machine Learning techniques for engineering automation, test automation, deployment pipeline optimization, and performance tuning.
