Software Engineer, GCP & Java, VP

Develop, test, and implement full lifecycle software solutions in a permanent feature team with a focus on GCP and Java technologies.

Collaborate with principal engineers, architects, and stakeholders to align platform design and development with business objectives, including Market Risk requirements.

Deliver resilient, scalable microservices and APIs using Agile methods, automation in build, test, deployment, and incorporate AI/ML to optimize engineering workflows.

Minimum 12 years of Java development experience including Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and REST API design.

At least 8 years hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, GKE, Cloud SQL) focusing on infrastructure modernization and cloud-native migration.

Strong understanding of Market Risk concepts such as Value at Risk (VaR), market data processing, and time-series data management.

Must be based in India; work to be carried out in India (Gurugram location).

Experienced software engineer at senior/VP level capable of full stack design with strong domain knowledge in Market Risk technology solutions.

Proven ability to bridge business and technical requirements, collaborating effectively with business and engineering stakeholders.

Experienced in implementing enterprise-grade, scalable Java microservices on GCP, with practical skills in applying AI/ML techniques to enhance delivery velocity and reduce manual effort.
