Java Software Engineer - Connectors

Design, implement, and own high-performance, fault-tolerant connector integrations and distributed microservices for a mission-critical SaaS platform.

Take end-to-end ownership of critical backend subsystems including architecture, development, production support, monitoring, and optimization.

Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and SRE teams to ensure platform reliability, performance, and operational visibility, while mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.

7+ years of experience designing and building large-scale distributed backend systems with high throughput and low latency.

5+ years of production experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures covering tenant isolation, rate limiting, and resource management.

Expert-level Java 8+ development skills including concurrency, performance tuning, and relevant frameworks.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), messaging/event-streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS), and strong understanding of microservices and integration protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC).

Senior backend engineer skilled in designing distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant systems within SaaS environments involving multi-tenancy.

Technical leader comfortable owning full lifecycle of critical platform subsystems including operational monitoring and incident resolution.

Experienced collaborator in remote/distributed teams with ability to mentor, influence architecture, and drive engineering best practices.
